The pelvic floor muscles are very important for both women and men and sexual pleasure.
Maintaining these muscles is important so that everything continues to function properly.
The pelvic floor muscles support the organs that lie at the bottom of the abdomen.
The bladder with the urethra, the rectum, the prostate or the uterus.
The pelvic floor muscles are located between the ischial tuberosities in your butt and they continue to the front and are attached to your pubic bone.
When you tense your pelvic floor muscles, you feel your anus pull inwards and sink back down when relaxed.
The pelvic floor muscles are normally slightly tense.
This happens unconsciously, it ensures that the urethra and the intestine are closed.
When you go to the toilet, they relax so that the stool can come out.
These muscles also relax during sex so that you can have sex.
It is important that the pelvic floor muscles can relax properly so that the toilet visit goes without problems. Constantly tightening the pelvic floor has negative consequences such as increased urine loss or difficulty going to the toilet.
The pelvic floor muscles also play an important role in arousal and contribute to the pleasure of sex.
When you become aroused, the blood flow to the genitals is greatly increased.
There are also aids to help your pelvic floor muscles recover or expand.
For example, you can think of a Vaginal Dilator.
These are often used to make the vaginal opening wider and/or deeper.
This can help, for example, for women who have undergone radiation therapy, suffer from Vaginismus or suffer from Mayer Rokitansky Kuster syndrome during menopause when the vagina becomes narrower.
It can also help transgenders who have undergone a gender reassignment surgery from male to female to prevent adhesions.
A dilator is therefore not for sexual pleasure but to keep the vagina supple and healthy and to prevent adhesions.
We have several different dilators in the webshop, including sets with different sizes such as these:
CalExotics 5PC Wearable dilator set
Revitalize and strengthen vaginal muscles with the contoured She-Ology™ 5-Piece Wearable Vaginal Dilator Set.

The graduated set has been created to rejuvenate vaginal muscles and reduce insertion discomfort with every use.

The hypoallergenic premium silicone is body safe, unscented and phthalate free to keep you most sensitive spots, happy and healthy.
When you start with a dilator set, always start with the smallest dilator.
Use a lubricant to insert it easily and painlessly.
After you have inserted it, hold it for a while.
Then you can switch to a thicker one so that the tissue in the vagina becomes more supple.
Inserting a dilator can be combined with breathing exercises to relax the surrounding muscles.
Training your pelvic floor muscles with Kegel balls
Kegel balls are also known as vaginal balls and are small weights that consist of two parts.
A ball(s) that is inserted into the vagina and a string that hangs out of it.
Because there is a weight in the balls, you automatically use your muscles when you move to keep the ball(s) in place.
The Kegel balls not only train your muscles but can also stimulate you by gently pulling on the string.
The Kegel ball training therefore gives you the advantage that your vagina becomes tighter and that you can better control your bladder.
The advantage of a tighter vagina is also that your orgasms become more intense.

Pelvic floor muscle training for men
It is also good for men to train their pelvic floor muscles.
This helps against incontinence and better control of the bladder.
This also promotes recovery when you have had prostate surgery.
It also improves the erection, which becomes harder and lasts longer.
